Magicians, musicians and gymnasts: Circus show by class 5a

After weeks of training, class 5a performed a circus show for parents and friends. Here's a report by one of the students.

After weeks of training the moment was finally here. We, the class 5a, could proudly present our circus show to our parents. In the beginning the circus directors welcomed everyone. As the first act, three dancers danced their way into our heart by performing a beautiful modern dance show. Two of our spectacular magicians came next. They showed us brilliant card tricks, let a ring disappear and reappear and fused two ropes into one. Now it was time to become musical again. Our great musician played the violin for us and then our singer sang her song from the movie Vaiana. Everyone was amazed! The next act was presented by six talented gymnasts. They performed handstands, cartwheels, rope skipping and lots of other tricks. They were followed by the world’s funniest clowns who saved the school from burning into ashes because of a candle by spitting it out with ear-to-ear transferred water. They made everyone laugh. In the next act the other two magicians showed up and performed their card tricks. As the highlight of the show nine of the best role players showed us a great roleplay about Charlie’s birthday at the circus space. Finally, the two circus directors thanked the audience for coming. We hope all parents had a great time!

A special thanks goes to Mrs Schäffer for practicing with us J
